OBITUARY William Frank Collins Sr. October 11, 1942 – January 13, 2019 William “Bill” Frank Collins, Sr., age 76, of Calabash formerly of Leavittsburg, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019. He was born in Warren, Ohio on October 11, 1942 the son of the late, Charles Henry Collins and Mary Kovacs Collins and he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ann Collins also a son, Michael Drajic; a sister, Faye Bungard; two brothers, Herb Collins and Charlie Collins; and a special pet named, Arielle. Mr. Collins was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was an active member of the Senior Center in Calabash. Everyone knew him as “Poppy”, he never met a stranger, and will be greatly missed. Surviving are: five children, Monica Partridge of Palm Desert, CA; Jennifer Peterson (Ron) of Longs, SC, Lorraine Collins of Calabash, NC, William Collins (Lisa) of Cortland, OH and Steve Drajic (Mechelle) of Wilmington, NC; nine grandchildren, Kyra Collins, Jarett Collins, Josh Collins, Ella Collins, Noah Partridge, Jonah Partridge, Jacob Partridge, Michael Drajic and Alyssa Drajic; and a special pet named Molly.
