Mr. William Henry Campbell, 70, of Spartanburg, SC, folded his earthly tent on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Born on September 13, 1948 in Spartanburg County to the late Johnny A. and Lola Murphy Campbell, he was a graduate of Carver High School Class of 1967, a US Air Force Veteran and later retired from Michelin after 27 years of dedicated service along side his father in heating and air conditioning, and plumbing. Mr. Campbell gave his life to Christ at the age of 12 and joined Mt.

Moriah Baptist Church. He and his family later attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Pauline, SC.

He was predeceased by one brother, Johnny Maxwell. Mr. Campbell leaves to cherish memories his wife of 49 years, Cassie Mae Shands Campbell; one daughter, Tanya Nicole Campbell of Houston, TX; one grandson reared in the home, Denzel Demetrious Whittaker; two great grand-children, Braylen Latrel Whittaker and Jaques Antonio Whittaker of Spartanburg; three sisters, Barbara J. Crockett (James Michael) and Brenda L. Campbell both of Spartanburg, and Ethel M. Stinson of Chicago, IL; one brother James B. Campbell of Spartanburg; aunts, Louise Black Cunningham and Lizzie M. Black both of Spartanburg and Alberta Murphy of Newark, NJ; great-aunts, Mary Jeter of Spartanburg and Mozell Pannell of Amityville, NY; uncles, James Willie Murphy of Williams Port, PA and Clarence Murphy Sr. of Jonesville, SC; special niece, Cisha Campbell of Spartanburg; sister-in-laws, Lessie Ross (Willie), Arillie Shands Wells and Dorothy Fuller all of Spartanburg; brother-in-laws, Wayne Shands (Reba) of Spartanburg, Dogan Shands (Rose) of Roebuck, SC, Ellis Shands, Ray Shands and John L. Shands (Elloree) all of Spartanburg; close friends, Johnny and Janie Fitzpatrick and Raymond Dawkins; along with a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and love ones. Mr. Campbell is resting in the care and keeping of a loving and merciful God.

Final services will be held 3pm Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church located at 2555 S. 111, Pauline SC. The family is at home of his sister, Brenda Campbell, 125 LaSalle Court, Spartanburg SC.
