Mr. William “Bill” J. Johnson, 66, of Avon Park, passed away on March 19, 2019 at Somers Hospice House. Bill was born in Columbus, OH to Raymond and Wilma Johnson. He served for over 20 years in the US Air Force as a firefighter.

Bill was a civil war and history buff, a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan and a die hard Cleveland Browns fan. He also loved cooking, reading and was a great lover of music. Bill loved to spend time with good friends down at The Tap Room bar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Wilma. He is survived by his wife of 31 1/2 years, Karen Sue Johnson, Avon Park; two children, Tiffany M. Johnson, Bowling Green, OH and Scott J. Johnson, Seattle, WA; two sisters, Connie and Bitsy; brother, Timmie; two grandchildren, Hannah M. and Jenna M. Yglesias. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and he will never be forgotten.
