William “Jabo” Lender Wyatt, 91, of 400 Center Street, Greenwood, widower of Burdette Sammons Wyatt, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Burg and Cora Gradon Wyatt. William was a U. S. Marine veteran serving during the Korea War.

He was a Mason and a member of the Marine Corp League. “Jabo” retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of Harris Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two stepsons, Robert Henderson and Donald Henderson.

Surviving are his children, Thomas Wyatt, Carolyn Lowry (Bobby) both of Greenwood, Lynn Solas (James) of Simpsonville, Keith Wyatt of Walker, LA and Carol Rogers of Greenville; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday at Harris Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Thomas officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Keith Wyatt, Michael Wyatt, Robert Lowry, Andrew Lucas, Mark Henderson and Bill McCollum. The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Friday from 6 to 8 pm.
