William “Bill” Smallwood, 75, resident of Ellensburg Nursing Center, husband of Maxine Young Smallwood, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Born in Commerce, GA. , he was the son of the late Hubert Henry and Mittie Wilson Smallwood.

He retired from formerly ProMed and a member of Temple Baptist Church. Bill was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to fish, especially, crappie fish.

Surviving in addition to his wife of Anderson, is his children, Jennifer Cobb (Larry), Jeff Smallwood, both of Ninety Six, Bill Hockman (Daphine), Paul Hockman, and Glenna Sanders (Billy), all of Anderson; sister, Susie Roddy of Greenville; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Smith Smallwood. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.

Bryan Cox officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. The family members will be at their respective homes.
