William Jesse Bradfield passed away peacefully at his home in Moon Township on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the age of 78. He was born in Pittsburgh on August 17, 1940 one of four children to the late William M. and Adelma (Harper) Bradfield. He grew up in Greentree, graduated from Dormont High School in 1958 and was a member of Wallace Presbyterian Church.

After graduation from high school, he joined the U.S. Army from 1959-1962 and then attended Potomac State. William enjoyed his cabin in Cooks Forest where he loved to hunt. He coached his son and daughter in Moon Sports, relished watching his grandchildren play sports and also coached Moon Baseball for many years.

William was sales manager for Coca Cola and upon retirement drove for Globe. William married the love of his life on July 19, 1969 and they had 49 wonderful years of marriage. He is survived by his beloved wife, Suzanne I. (Williams) Bradfield; his two loving children William Matthew Bradfield of Marionville, PA and Lori Bradfield (Oli) Theodorsson of Moon Twp.

; five adoring grandchildren Maddison, Will Callie Bradfield and Emma and Oli Theodorsson; his brother David (Barbara) Bradfield of Bridgeville; brother-in-law Bill Frisch of Ohio; also loving nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his sisters Marion Frisch and Sally (the late Jack) Jones. Visitation Sunday 2-5 PM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd.

where service will be held on Monday at 11 AM followed by Military Honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
