William P. Lane, age 64, of New Lexington, Ohio, died on Friday, October 19, 2018. Born on November 3, 1953 to the late Vincent and Florence Lane, Bill was a longtime resident at Mt. Aloysius in New Lexington, Ohio where his care was lovingly and compassionately provided.

Until his retirement in 2016, he was an employee at PERCO Vocational Rehab Center. Bill was a participant in many Special Olympics events. He was a member of and managed the Mt.

Aloysius Bulldogs basketball team. Bill was an avid and lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan. Humor, love, and joy were experienced by all who had the opportunity to know Bill.

He is survived by his siblings Vicki Lane, Cathy Fields, Maureen (Pat Powers) Eliseo, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Friday October 26th at the Church of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, 5225 Refugee Rd. , Columbus, OH 43232.

The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30am until the time of the mass. Arrangements by the EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, Columbus, OH.
