Obituary for William M Murphy William M. “Bill” Murphy, passed away June 16, 2018 at his home with his family and friends by his side. He was born on August 31, 1957 in Nova Scotia, Canada and was adopted by William Leo and Gertrude Elizabeth (nee O’Brien) Murphy. Bill worked as a Magistrate for Hamilton County Domestic Relations Court.

He married Elizabeth Meyer and they were blessed with 6 children: Megan, Ryan, Matthew, Michael, Joshua and Molly. Bill invested his life into his family and leading by example. Bill loved Jesus and doing His work.

He would pray for people after church and was always helping others. Bill created a non profit Abraham’s Blessings which helped the people of Kenya with water and other essentials. He also loved Elder High School, Notre Dame.

Bill also loved to Bike and Hike. Those left to carry on Bill’s legacy is his loving wife: Beth Murphy; dear children: Megan (Joe) Lewin, Ryan (Kelsay) Matthew, Michael, Joshua & Molly Murphy; Cherished grandchild: Lucy & foster Pa Pa; Beloved Mother: Gertrude Murphy; sister: Mary Beth (Tom) Sena; Mother-in- law: Mary Jane Meyer. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his father: William Leo Murphy and father in law Adam Meyer. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 3 PM until the time of the funeral at 6 PM at Church on Fire, 10544 Harrison Ave. , Harrison.

The family has asked that In lieu of flowers please make donations to Abraham’s Blessings/ Waweza Movement. This will greatly help others in need and would mean so much more than flowers to the family. You may mail your donation made payable to Abraham’s Blessings/ Waweza Movement or bring to the visitation/Funeral and give to a funeral home representative.
