OBITUARY William Marc Fair June 8, 1952 – December 17, 2018 William Marc Fair, most often called Bill, was born in Cleveland, Ohio 66+ years ago. From the time of his birth, to the time of his death, he heard music that was different from what the world heard. Bill “danced” to HIS music, not the music of others.

I guess you could say Bill was spoiled because unlike his older siblings, he had everything they did not have growing up. Actually, his two older siblings made this possible. Bill got a new two-wheeled bike (not a used one like his brother and sister), he had a Lionel Train Set, an erector set, you name it and he had it.

Bill was extremely smart, perhaps that was a problem for him. He was also good with his hands. He could disassemble something and easily put it back together.

He worked on the cars of yesteryear. The new ones, with computers, would probably challenge him. He also had a license to drive 18-wheeler semis down the highway.

And don’t try to beat him at a game of chess. You would probably have a hard time winning. Bill married and fathered two children, Patricia and Robert, both of whom live out-of-state now.

He is the grandfather of children who will never see his smile or enjoy his brand of humor. Bill’s sense of humor will be missed. And, he loved watching “action” films… The Iron Man series, the Jason Bourne series, and the Fast and Furious series.

He got his sister hooked on these films and many others. One movie they enjoyed together was the Black Panther, that was a world-wide hit. The family would ask when you see someone different, perhaps acting or behaving different, that you remember Bill… a father, a brother, and in-law, an uncle and a cousin.

He was one of us. Bill leaves his son Robert Fair (Donette), his daughter Patricia Rochelle Marr (Horace), his brother, Thomas Wendell Fair (Kathleen), his sister Judith Marie Fair Flemings, and a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws to mourn his passing. Rest easy Bill.
