William Michael “Mike” Bumm, 72, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on May 6, 2019. He was born at Hamilton Army Airfield in San Rafael, CA on March 17, 1947 to the late Col. William Charlie Bumm and Maxine Evelyn Bumm.

He was also predeceased by his wife Barbara “Bobbie” Bumm. Mike is survived by his wife, Deborah Collender Bumm; daughter Pauline Carroll (Bryan) of Huntersville, NC; grandchildren Evelyn, Miriam and John Patrick “Jack” Carroll; sisters Candice Young and Lexanne Bumm; stepmother Joanne Bumm and several cousins. He is also survived by his stepchildren; James Collender (Jennifer) and Caity Hanamura (Taylor).

Mike was proud to serve in the United States Air Force. As the son of a pilot, he found his love for flying too. His many years in Lake Elsinore, California were spent running his business, B&B Metrology, and enjoying water sports.

He moved to Oklahoma in 1996. Mike trained for and completed his first marathon at the age of 54. He was inspired to run again in an effort to honor the 168 victims of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.

He has since continued to be a volunteer for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon which benefits the Oklahoma City Memorial Fund. Mike has enjoyed his many years as a real estate broker and co-owner of The Property Center of Oklahoma City. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Life.

Church Oklahoma City, 2001 NW 178th Street, Edmond, OK. Family and friends will gather afterwards to greet guests at Mitch Park in Edmond. Memorial donations may be made to The Oklahoma Proton Center, 5901 W Memorial Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73142.
