Obituary for William Newton Cayll William “Bill” Newton Cayll died peacefully in his home on May 8, 2018, in Winter Park, Florida at the age of 76. William was born on September 26, 1941 in Winter Park, Florida to Richard and Florence Cayll. He graduated from Winter Park High School in 1959.

In 1984 William and Douglas opened their first furniture shop, Flo’s Attic on historic Orange Avenue in Orlando. Their second shop also on Orange Avenue, was a bustling, premier, award-winning antiques and restoration center for 20 years. Their most recent location now resides on Fairbanks Avenue.

William is survived by his partner of 35 years, Douglas Hobbs, his brother and wife, Philip and Ruth Cayll, and several loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. William is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard Cayll, and sisters Josephine Dittmer and Barbara McKenna. A Visitation is scheduled for 10:00 am followed by chapel service at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 12th, 2018 at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, FL.
