Obituary for William O. Lipscomb III William Oscar Lipscomb III, 75, of Chiefland, Florida passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018. Mr. Lipscomb was born in Roanoke, Virginia on June 25, 1942, to the late Sue and W.O. Lipscomb, Jr He was a graduate of VA.

Tech and a life-long Hokie Fan. Mr. Lipscomb was a chemist employed with Elizabeth Arden Company. He married Kay Sisson on June 24, 1995.

His hobbies were fishing and antiquing. He was Presbyterian by faith. Mr. Lipscomb is survived by his wife, Kay Lipscomb; sons, Phillip J George III (PJ) of Nashville, TN and Glenn (Jennifer) Lipscomb of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Sarah Grace Lipscomb and Sam Lipscomb, both of Denver, CO; brothers, H. Guy (Sandy) Lipscomb and Mike Lipscomb; sister-in-law, Sharon Lipscomb; nephews, G. (Salena) Lipscomb, Greg Lipscomb, Drew (Tonya) Lipscomb, Cary (Kristie) Lipscomb and Brian (Nikki) Hale; niece, Amy (Greg) Altice; special great aunt, Norma Sisson; cousins, Dave (Ginny) Etheridge and Susan (John) Swope and a host of great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Chapel of Second Presbyterian Church in Roanoke, Virginia, with Jennifer Powell officiating.
