William P. Gray Sr. New Brighton William P. Gray Sr., 71, of New Brighton, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Curahealth Heritage Valley, Beaver. Born October 31, 1947, in Ambridge, a son of the late Raymond and Josephine (Hollein) Gray. Bill was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Air Force.

He was retired from Homer Nine & Sons as an HVAC installer; he was also a handyman helping anyone in need. He was an avid Steeler, Penn State and WVU fan. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Tammy (Barr) Gray; daughter, Summer (Andrew) Oslick; son, William P. (Danielle) Gray Jr., Hopewell; daughter, Bryanna Gray, New Brighton; four grandchildren, Hayden, Joanna, Silas and Liam; one sister, Dora Joy, Ambridge; several nieces, nephews and their families; and his beloved kitty, Buddy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tara Gray; and two sisters, Cookie and Joan. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. in the J&J SPRATT FUNERAL HOME, 1612 Third Ave.

Inurnment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, at a later date. The family asks in lieu of flowers you may make a donation to the funeral home in his honor.
