Paul Foust, 54, from Avon, IN passed away at home on March 14. He was a graduate of Avon High School (1982), served on the USS Forrestal (CV-59) while enlisted in the US Navy, and worked for Eli Lilly and Company for 28 years until his retirement. Paul loved his family, and was immensely proud of his 3 sons, Joshua, John and Jacob.

Paul and his wife, Laura, celebrated 25 years of marriage. Paul’s parents were the late Carol (Klink) and Bill Foust. He is survived by his wife, sons, and sister, Debra Burns.

Paul had a second degree black belt in karate, was a coach and coordinator for AJAA youth football, and a Colts season ticket holder. Paul rode his Harley Fat Boy with the Indiana Patriot Guard for many years. Terminal cancer never broke Paul’s spirit.

He believed that we must live life with a focus on the living, not dwelling on dying. He never wavered from this philosophy. To the end he kept his sense of humor and appreciation for life.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 23 at Avon Christian Church, 7236 E. County Road 100 South, Avon IN. Arrangements are being handled by Bell Mortuary & Crematory, Royster-Askin-Sandrock Chapel, 2310 W Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222. Online condolences can be made at www.
