Obituary for William Robert “Bob” Moon Sr. William Robert “Bob” Moon, Sr., 73, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born February 26, 1945, in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Jack Willingham Moon and Anne Jackson Moon. A U. S. Marine veteran and graduate of Limestone College, Mr. Moon was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

He retired from textile sales and was a member of Downtown Sertoma Club of Spartanburg, a Mason and Shriner. Survivors include his son, Robby Moon (Laura) and granddaughter, Molly Moon of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Kay Moon Meier of Prosper, TX; and two nieces, Stacy Hays (Joel) and Kimberly Sulak (Chuck). A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 AM Saturday, January 5, 2019, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd.
