Obituary for William S. Dietrich Service for William S. Dietrich will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 19, 2018 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday April 18 from 1pm-8pm, with family receiving visitors from 6pm-8pm. William passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018.

He was 67. Born July 30, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas to Wesley and Lela (Hensley) Dietrich, William moved to many different places with his father’s career in the military. He did finish his high school years in San Antonio, graduating from South San High School.

After his schooling, he moved to California for a time and then back to San Antonio. Oklahoma became home in 1991 and he was the owner of a sewing shop. William also owned a medical supply company at this time.

William enjoyed many things in life; most was just the simple things like spending time with his family. He loved time at the lake and taking care of his cars. He was an animal lover and had several cats.

William was always thinking of others ahead of himself. If you had a need, he would help in any way. He always gave from his heart and never needed a thank you.

Those family members that survive include his wife Lydia Dietrich of their home, his children Anthony Dietrich and wife Bethanie and Jonathan Dietrich all of Claremore; his grandchildren Breanna Self, Mark Dietrich and Luke Dietrich and great granddaughter Anna Kate Self; his brother Gene Dietrich and wife Elsie of Cedar Park, Texas; his step sons Jeffrey Glasby of Pryor, Jeremy Glasby of Arkansas, John Glasby of Texas and Joseph Glasby of Claremore; 8 step grandchildren.
