He was the loving husband of the late Margaret Ijams (nee Coolahan); devoted father of Kelly Schlesner and her husband Rudolf, Steven Ijams, John Ijams, and the late Tracy Ijams; cherished grandfather of Hannah Ijams, William Schlesner, Nicholas Schlesner, and Brynn Cigna. At the request of Mr. Ijams, all services are private.
