William Thomas Whitehouse (Billy), of Ashford, CT, passed away Thursday April 26, 2018. He was born April 7, 1955 to the late Gordon and Priscilla (Buck) Whitehouse. Billy worked at UCONN, where he was a landscaper from the 1980s until his retirement.

Billy was an avid sports fan, a lifetime follower of the Boston Red Sox and the New York Giants, and took up hobbies in masonry and horticulture. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved Grandson and golfing with his brothers. He is survived by his two children; his son, Christopher Whitehouse and his wife Mariah; his daughter, Mikaely Thomas, her husband Colby, and their son Gavin, as well as 9 siblings, Paul, Janet, Richard, Edwin, Charles, Kathryn, Robert, Nancy and James; many nieces and nephews and a group of lifelong friends.

A private ceremony will be held by the family at a later date. “Our family would like to thank the staff of Windham Hospital and Potter Funeral Home for the compassion, respect and care of Billy and our family during this difficult time”.
