William Anthony “Tony” Roland was born on November 28, 1953 in Ft. Worth, TX to William Allen and Maribob (Murray) Roland. Tony passed away on March 22, 2019 in Durant, OK at the age of 65.

Tony has been a life long resident of Atoka and Bryan Counties. He graduated from Caney High School and worked as an electrician and facilities manager for Texas Instruments. Tony proudly served his Country in the National Guard for many years.

Tony married Carol Ann Merrifield and they have been blessed with 46 years together. Tony enjoyed fishing and treasured the time he spent with his wife, Carol and the rest of his family. His greatest joy in his life came with the time he shared with granddaughter, Britney.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ricky and Allen (Lee) Roland; grandson, Brandon Roland and mother and father in law, Glen and Norma Harris. Tony is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Carol Ann Roland; son, Anthony (Brett) Roland; daughter in law, Victoria Roland; beloved granddaughter, Britney Roland; sister, Sandy Wallace; brother, Michael Roland and wife Shelia and numerous extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Chris Roland, Danny Heath, Bill Whetsel and Mike Wood.
