Mr. William L. “Uncle Joe” Waters, 82, of Conway, Ar departed this life on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. He was born in Morrilton, Ar to the late Amanda Taft Murray and Lonny E. Waters on August 28, 1935. He leaves behind a lifelong friend and mate, Gladys Thompson Waters; four sons, Sherman Waters of Wichita, Kansas; Bobby Waters of Omaha, NE; Curtis Waters of Conway, Ar and Ricky Waters of Little Rock, AR; one daughter, Jacquline Waters of Conway, Ar and one brother, Gene Edwards of Little… Read More » Rock, AR; Eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Greater Second Baptist Church, 5615 Geyer Springs Road, Little Rock, Ar. Visitation 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Monday, July 23, 2018 at the funeral home and one hour prior to service. Services entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, 910 Walnut Street, Conway, AR.
