Obituary for William Weaver The world now turns a little bit slower. William “Bill-Bill” Weaver, age 61, of Carlisle, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at Sycamore Medical Center, after complications from surgery for colon cancer. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on August 18, 1957 to Roy and Dorothy Weaver.

He was preceded in death by his father. Bill has two sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Eddie Crowe and Karen and Anthony Motley. He loved his niece, nephews and their families: Jessie and Josh Hoban, Steffan Crowe and his fiancé Kaille Phong, Mason Motley, Grant Crowe, and Marshall and Madison Motley.

He especially loved his great nieces and nephew Maggie, Lilly and Sam Hoban. Unfortunately, Bill’s mother will not be able to attend the service as she is in a nursing home. However, she will be there in spirit.

She was the exemplary mother who took wonderful care of Bill for 58 years…and no one has ever loved Bill more than her. Bill always brought a smile to the face of the people who knew him. He held a special place in his heart for everyone.

He was especially fond of Joanne and Doug Byers, Heather and Jim Wiseman’s family and very special neighbors Earl, Colie and Becky McCarty. Chrissy Oldfield was also a very special friend who, for four years met him as he came home from PSU (his workshop) every afternoon and cared for him deeply. Bill loved life itself.

He loved, LOVED 1960s music and 1960s cartoons. You never saw him without a radio in his hand…either a GE SuperRadio or a little transistor radio “for the road”. He also had a passion for OSU football, the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and, yes, even the Browns.

Bill loved all celebrations…birthday parties, parades, and holidays, especially Christmas! To honor Bill at his funeral, you are requested to wear a shirt that Bill would have loved, such as a shirt with a Looney-Toons character or perhaps a shirt with your favorite baseball or football team. Bill was not really a “flower” kind of fella.

So please, please in lieu of flowers, make a contribution in Bill’s memory to Production Services Unlimited (Bill’s workshop) and the money will be used to help other people just like Bill. (Production Services Unlimited, Inc., 575 Columbus Ave. , Lebanon, OH 45036) Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 7 preceded by visitation from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 40 North Main Street in Springboro with Jeff Roberts officiating.
