William Edward Armbruster Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at HealthSource Saginaw. Age 90 years. The son of the late Jenny (Leiner) and John Armbruster was born April 19, 1928 in Lakefield Township, Michigan.

He married Wanda Greenwood, June 6, 1950. She passed away December 31, 2015. William served with the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of American Legion Post #22.

He was employed by General Motors, retiring in 1975 with 26 years of service. He was a member of Old Town Christian Outreach and enjoyed wood carving. Surviving are four children and their spouses, Larry and Nancy Leiner; Ed Greenwood; John and Amy Armbruster; Mary Collison; eleven grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A son-in-law, Bill Collison, and a daughter-in-law, Darlene Greenwood have predeceased him. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2018, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev.

Bill Bodner will officiate with Military Honors under the auspices of American Legion Post #22. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday.
