Willie James’ Obituary Willie James “Blue” Spears, 63, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Funeral services for Mr.Spears will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at House of Prayer Church, located at 52 North Cypress Street, Walnut Hill, Florida 32568 with burial to follow at Second Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Brewton, Alabama under the directions of Mercy Funeral Home. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel and on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church in Walnut Hill, Florida.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of (39) years, LuWanna (Cottie) Spears of Beaumont, TX; father, H. L. Jr. & Nettie Spears of Pensacola, Florida; step dad, Till McDowell of Flomaton, Ala; two daughters, Constance Madison (Wesley) and Adrienne Odom (Harvey) both of Flomation, Ala; two sons, James Adams (Ra Shandra) of Houston, TX and Chris Pleasant of Detroit, Mich. ; one sister, Cathy Ann Jackson (Michael)of Flomaton, Ala; three brothers, Robert Earl Spears (Barbara) of Marietta, Ga. , Ronnie Spears (Candace) of Des Moines, Wa, and Ronald Spears (Elaine) of Guyton, Ga.

; one- step sister, Lois Thompson of Pensacola, Fl; two step brothers, Till McDowell (Amanda), John Albert McDowell both of Pensacola, Florida; (12) grandchildren, (4) great grandchildren, six aunts, two uncles, and a host of nieces, and nephews. Special friends are: Joe Melvin Carter of Brewton, Ala. , Michael Barnes, Earl Carter and Larry Hunt, all of Beaumont.
