She was the daughter of the late John Fields and Leona Gardner Fields. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother.

She loved the Lord and quoted her favorite scripture John 14:1-3 until her passing. When she moved to Pine Bluff with her husband Deacon Bridges, she was a faithful member serving as choir president, Deaconess and mother of the church. She was the oldest living member of Jericho.

She loved to dress flashy, wearing colorful hats and tall high-heel shoes, giving praises to our God. Willie Bridges peacefully transitioned on Saturday morning , December 22, 2018 at the White Hall Rehabilitation and Health Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Deacon Roosevelt Bridges, Six sisters; Florence Aaron, Annie Fields, Myrtle Frazier, Bessie Reynolds, Lydia Rabun and Margaret Fields.

Two brothers; Edward Fields and Adell Fields. Her loving memories will be cherished by her faithful daughter; Sylvia Lee Bridges of Pine Bluff. Two grandchildren, Six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren.

She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, Mother Bridges funeral service will be 2:00pm on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Highland Missionary Baptist Church by Reverend Donzell Jones. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery by Paradise Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2018 from 7:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home.
