Wilma DeJean Searcy, 89, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Magnolia Manor in Groves, Texas. Wilma was born December 29, 1928 in Port Arthur, Texas to Aurillien DeJean and Anna Mae Dempsey DeJean. She was a lifelong Port Arthur resident and member of Gulf Avenue Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis R. Searcy; brothers, Julius DeJean and A. J. DeJean, Jr.; and sister, Elsie Schexnayder. Survivors include her sister, Jo Ann DeJean Smith of Groves; and numerous nieces and nephews, Julie Campbell, Loreli Abraham, Jeanie Casanova, Buz Smith, Summer Jackson, Patsy LeDoux, Sandra Broussard, Sue Sharp, F. J. Schnexnayder, John Schnexnayder, Jimmy Schnexnayder, Kay Norwood, Rocky DeJean, Clayton DeJean, Craig DeJean, Randy DeJean, Jeffery DeJean and Michelle DeJean. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Joe Lee officiating.

Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
