Obituary for Winfred A. “Winn” Kysely Winfred A. “Winn” Kysely, 84, lifetime resident of Okauchee, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday May 12, 2018. Loving husband of Colette (Chickie – nee Bethke) of almost 58 years. Best father/grandfather ever created to his 12 children: Catherine (John) Bonasera, Jane (Thomas) Parulski, Christopher (Linda) Kysely, Gerard Kysely, Joseph (Lynn) Kysely, Mary (Rich) Callahan, Lisa (Michael) Cronin, Mark (Terri) Kysely, Maria (GJ) Schneider, Fr.
Andrew Kysely, Lucas (Judy) Kysely, and Sister Maria Vianney “Karen” Kysely, O.P.; his 21 grandchildren: Gino Bonasera, Sara (T. J.) Ricer, David (Emily) Parulski, Michael (Nickie) Parulski, Jeffrey (Jenny) Parulski, Benjamin and Noah Parulski, Joshua and Jessica Kysely, Steve and Dan Callahan, Isaac, Matthew, and Clare Kysely, Natalie and Edie Schneider, Ally, Katie, Brett, Collin, and Lizzie Kysely, and his first great-grandchild expected in June. He is also survived by his sister Joan Daley and brother Robert Kysely along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, and 4 brothers. He had a strong devotion to God, Our Blessed Mother, his wife and family, and his country. Winn served as a lineman in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, based at Camp San Louis Obispo, CA.
He was past-president of The Holy Name Society of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church – Okauchee, past- president of Okauchee Eisstockschiessen Society, member of IBEW Electrical Union, and worked with The Okauchee Lions Club in implementing the first Old Okauchee Days. He loved gardening and shared much of his fresh produce with family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial for Winn will be held on Friday May 18, 2018 at 11:30 AM, officiated by Fr.
Andrew Kysely, with a visitation starting at 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral Mass, all to take place at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church (W359 N8512 Brown St. Oconomowoc, WI). Burial to follow at St. Joan of Arc Cemetery (Hwy. K Oconomowoc, WI).
