MADISON-Winifred Jane “Win” Eide, age 103, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018. She was born on Jan.

9, 1915, in Lancaster, the daughter of William and Florence (Addison) Welsh. Win was a devout Christian and an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was an original member of the Marion Circle and helped in the church library.

Win was very social and developed close relationships in her neighborhood where she lived for 55 years.

She never missed the show Wheel of Fortune, and in her later years, learned to paint, and found that she loved it. Win is survived by her children, Donna (Chuck) Studee and John (Susan) Eide; grandchildren, Andy (Laura) Studee, Paul Studee and John Eide, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Aspen Eide, Joshua Studee and Wesley Studee; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Vivian Wiest.

Funeral services will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1904 Winnebago St., Madison, at 12 noon on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, with the Rev. Nordby Rodney presiding.

Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Olbrich Botanical Gardens.
