Winnie was born April 21, 1926 in Granbury, Texas to Robert and Pearl Hobbs. She was retired from Brooks Hospital with 39 years as an LVN; and was a member of Thomas Street Baptist Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and raising chickens. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Alan Doss and her parents.
