OBITUARY Yuet Nora Lum November 10, 1937 – December 7, 2018 Yuet Nora Lum Yuet Nora Lum, loving wife of George Lum, devoted mother of Frances (Fausto), William, and Helen (Michael); loving grandmother of Victoria (Jason) and Nathan (Lauren); great-grandmother of Jaiden and Jordan; caring sister of Henry (Maria), Wah (Yee Wan), and Diana (Bill). Born in China on November 10, 1937, Nora began her journey through life. From a young age Nora placed high importance on education; following her passion she graduated in China with a Bachelor’s degree in Education.

She later moved to the United States in 1968 after marrying George Lum and having her first daughter, Frances. The following year she gave birth to her first son, William, and a year later her second daughter Helen. She passed on her passion for learning and education to each of her children always advocating, “Knowledge is power”.

Nora will be fondly remembered by family and friends for her selfless and giving heart always putting her family first. She was at her happiest when sharing a meal with those she loved and her happiness in these moments was felt and shared by all with her.
