A homegoing celebration for Mr. Zacar R. “CaCa” Mingo of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 will be held Saturday, March 16th, 2:00 p.m. Northside M.B. Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Pastor Ricardo Robinson, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Zacar R. Mingo was born December 1, 1976 in Tampa, Florida.

He attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. He was a “jack of all trades” and enjoyed playing pool, fishing and socializing with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Zacaria Mingo; grandmothers, Hattie Diggs and Delores Mingo; grandfather, Addison Grayson and uncles, Eddie Diggs, Jr. and Calvin Mitchell Mingo.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his children, Reneshay Sweat and Tyrell Tucker; parents, Veverly Grayson (Marvin) and Ricky Mingo (Dawn); brothers, Zachary Grayson (Shaquilya), Zakee Grayson (Regina) and Cornelius Mingo; sister, Larrette Grant; grandfather, Eddie Diggs, Sr.; aunts, Delilah Perkins, Cheryl Mingo and Barbara Gilbert-Rentz (Bill); uncles, Anthony Phillips, Kevin Thomas, Demetrius Baker (Carlniecya), Antwain Diggs (Mia), Rodney Diggs and Carl Johnson; 11 nieces; 11 nephews; a host of cousins; best-friends, Chris Sanders, Royce “Law” Mitchell, Milton “Ace” Lane, Toto Rivers, Starr Hall, Yolanda Williams and Robert Robinson. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March 15th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
