Obituary of Zachary Bowers Phelps/Geneva, Zachary David Bowers, 24 years old, of Graham, WA passed away on April 7th, 2018 in Graham, WA. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 18thfrom 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps, NY for those who loved him in New York. Zach was born on November 16th, 1993 in Geneva, NY to Jeff & Carla Bowers.

As a military child, Zach had the opportunity to see the world and build memories and friendships throughout his life. Zach attended Sumner High School from 2007 – 2010 and graduated Smithfield High School in Smithfield, VA in 2011. Zach returned to Washington State in 2013 and worked at Commencement Bay Corrugated in Orting, WA as an assistant machine operator, and attended college at Pierce College, Puyallup, WA.

Zach enjoyed traveling, collecting celebrity autographs, going to the gym, and most of all enjoying his life with his family. Zach will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, his selfless sacrifices to the ones he loved, and his ambition to provide his loved ones with the best things in life. Zach is survived by his parents, his sister Shelby Bowers, his step-daughter Rylnn Arndt (Emily Seck), his great-grandmother (Susan Trotta), grandmother (Marie Johnson), and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his faithful dog Buddy.
