Zetta’s Obituary Sherburn – A Funeral Service for Zetta Wymore, 98 of Sherburn, Minnesota will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Kramer Family Funeral Home Chapel in Sherburn with burial in Lake Fremont Cemetery in rural Dunnell, Minnesota. Zetta was called to her eternal rest on Tuesday evening, January 8, 2019 at Season’s Healthcare in Trimont, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019, until the time of the funeral services at the funeral home.

Message of sympathy can be left online at www. kramerfuneralhome.com Zetta Marie Strohm was born on September 8, 1920 to John L. and Sylvia L. (Cripe) Strohm in Conway, Kansas. She lived in Little River, Kansas until she graduated from high school.

Zetta was married and then moved to Nebraska. She had four daughters. Zetta later divorced and moved back to Kansas to be with her parents.

She was owner of Zetta’s Café for many years and raised her daughter’s by herself until moving to Minnesota and was co-owner of a motel and bowling alley with Audrey Nelson both in Sherburn, Minnesota. She loved life and family dearly and was the best mother in the world. Zetta greatly enjoyed dancing, bowling, fishing and going to casinos.

She also sold Conservation League tickets for many years. She is survived by her four daughters, Lila (Ray) Woodhead of Shawnee, Kansas, Sandra Lister of Fairmont, Minnesota, Donna Hecht of Sherburn, Minnesota and KC Joann Knight of Laughlin, Nevada; grandchildren, Scott Hecht of rural Welcome, Kimberly Matulka of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Melissa Rowen of Sheburn and Mike Lister of Branson, Missouri, Dan (Alison) Woodhead and Christi Woodhead all of Shawnee, Kansas; great-grandchildren, Jake and London Faber of rural Sherburn, Jackie and Samantha Hecht of rural Welcome, Jayda and Kylee Rowen of Sherburn, Michael and Christopher Lister from Missouri and Kalia and Lexi Woodhead of Kansas City, Kansas; brother, Leroy (Carrie) Strohm of Willard, Missouri; nieces and nephews and other relatives. Zetta was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Iva Myers, Verna Mae Smith, Evelyn Winkler; sons-in-law, Dick Hecht, Fred Lister and Don Knight and other relatives.

She was a very caring and kind person. Always ready to help a friend in need.
