OBITUARY Aaron James Whitacre December 20, 1982 – July 12, 2018 Aaron James Whitacre, age 35 of Ravenna, went Home to be the Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2018. He was born December 20, 1982, in Ravenna, Ohio, to parents Barry L. and Diana R. (Legg) Whitacre. Aaron attended Victory Baptist Temple with his parents and attended Ravenna High School.

He was a fun and caring person who loved spending time with his friends. Aaron had many interests in life, including reading and the outdoors. He was also a sports fan, especially for the Cavs.

He liked to cook and watch cooking shows. Aaron was fascinated by technology and electronics, often on his computer or playing video games. Aaron also loved music and was a very diverse musician, playing the saxophone, guitar, piano, and trumpet.

Aaron is survived by his parents, his aunts Ruth Turner, Debbie Sellars, and Tina Quealsch, as well as his cousins Dru, Austin, Francis, Jason, and Aaron. He will be sadly missed by his friends and everyone who knew him. Aaron was preceded in death by his brother Matthew David Whitacre and his grandparents Russell and Louise Whitacre, and Jim and Jane Legg.
