Aaron L. Evans, 32, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away September 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 26, 1985 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, a son of Robert T. Evans and his wife Sue of Shickshinny and Donna “Miller” Whalen and her husband Paul of Danville. He graduated from Coughlin High School in 2004.

He enjoyed playing the drums, the outdoors and days hiking and fishing and he enjoyed cooking. His favorite color was blue and he was a self-proclaimed nerd with his video games, RPG games and absolutely loved marathon movie nights of Star Wars, Star Trek and Lord of the Rings. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Joseph and Florence Rita Evans, maternal step grandmother Madge Miller, aunt Diane Miller Fox, and uncle Gary Miller Fox.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his companion Dana Slater of Wilkes-Barre and four step brothers; Kip Whalen of Pitman, Keith Whalen of Washingtonville, Brian Edkin of Scranton, and Joseph Edkin of Dallas, step sister Crystal Cottle of Hunlock Creek, maternal grandfather Ernest Miller of Hunlock Creek, and maternal grandmother Patricia Weatherill of Berwick. Aaron will be missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Graveside service will be Sunday at 1:00 pm at Millville Cemetery with Craig Cottle officiating.
