Obituary for Ada Ziccarelli (Esposito) Print Ada Ziccarelli, 84, of Kenosha, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019, at Froedtert South – Kenosha Medical Center Campus. Born in Marano Principato, province of Cosenza, Italy, on November 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Rafaella (Reda) Esposito. In December of 1955, she married Carmine Ziccarelli in Italy.

They moved from Italy to Argentina, then made the United States their home in 1963. He preceded her in death on April 7, 2000. Ada was employed as a housekeeper at many local businesses, most proudly in the surgical department at Kenosha Hospital.

She was also a seamstress at Cooper’s/Jockey for many years. She was a member at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Faith and family were the most important things to Ada.

She loved having everyone together for the holidays, being sure to cook and bake everyone’s favorite dishes. Before anyone could leave her home, Ada made sure they had more than their fair share and left stuffed. Survivors include her three sons, John Ziccarelli, Edward (Antonella) Ziccarelli, and Carmine (Marianne) Ziccarelli; four grandchildren, Krysten (Miles) Merten, Nicholas Ziccarelli, Sr., Ada Ziccarelli, and Chiara Ziccarelli; four great-grandchildren, Abby, Jacob, Cameron, and Nick Jr.; and a brother, Pasquale Esposito.

She is further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Domenico and Pepino Esposito. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1919 54th St., on Wednesday, February 20th, at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home prior from 9:00 a.m. until a prayer service at 10:45 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Kenosha Hospital, and a special thank you to Alba and everyone else who stopped by to show their support.
