Adam P. Gaski, 88, of Burlington, formerly of Bristol, husband of Barbara (Guzenski) Gaski passed away Wednesday October 31, 2018 in the loving care of his family. Adam was born December 11, 1929 in Bristol CT. He was the son of the late Frank J. & Mary (Gorska) Gaski.

He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Adam retired as a foreman of multiple departments from Superior Electric Co. in Bristol after 44 years of service. Adam was the founder of Gaski’s Oil Co. and Gaski’s Realty Co. which included the former Bristol Brass buildings.

In addition to his loving wife, Barbara of 67 years he is survived by his sons, Peter Gaski and his wife Donna of Burlington, Glen Gaski and his fiancée Jennifer of Burlington; his daughter, Joy Scott and her husband Fran of Terryville; his grandchildren, Stephanie Gaski, Adam Gaski and his wife Michelle, Matthew Scott and Mallory Scott, and his great grandson, Carson Adam Gaski. He also leaves a sister, Michelena Broza and many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by four brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:30PM on Monday (November 5, 2018) at St. Gregory the Great Church Bristol. Burial with military honors will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives & friends may visit at the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville on Sunday from 3 – 5PM www.
