Addie Mae Houser, 94, of Calhoun, GA, died Monday, March 11, 2019 at Gordon Health Care. She was born in Lawrenceburg, TN on December 12, 1924, daughter of the late Samuel Lewis Frazier and the late Rachel Delitha Brown Frazier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burnis M. Houser; her sons, Mahalon Ray Jaco and Roger Jaco; her granddaughter, Jessica Jaco; her brothers, Frank, Delmar, Roy, Arthur, Charlie, Jack, Paul, Don, and Handley Frazier; and her sisters, Grace Peck, Dean Hughes, and Wanda Shults.

Prior to retirement, Addie worked at Lay’s 5 & 10, and Lawrenceburg Steam Laundry. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Jessie Everette and Kathy Jaco of Chatsworth, GA, and Ricky Don Jaco; her daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie Sue and Steve Kearbey of Dalton, GA, Yola Marie and Rodney Fickett of Springfield, TN, and Debra J. and Danny Elder of Calhoun, GA; her daughter-in-law, Deborah Jaco of Springfield; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Frazier and Marci Frazier, of Kokomo, IN. Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, March 15th at 2:00 PM from Bumpass Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, with Kathy Jaco and Melinda Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13th at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home in Calhoun, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family requests flowers are omitted, and memorial contributions made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.
