Obituary for Adrienne Rosalie Buel Adrienne Rosalie (Olson) Buel died at UT Healthcare in San Antonio, TX, on July 16, 2018. She was born in Volga, SD on July 20, 1946, to Delbert and Florence Olson. She lived in Lake Preston, SD until her high school graduation, after which she attended Nettleton College in Sioux Falls, SD, taking executive secretarial training.

She then worked in Washington D.C. at the office of Congressman Ben Reifel until her marriage to Robert D. Buel in 1969. Adrienne and Bob moved to San Antonio, where they lived the rest of their lives. Adrienne worked in the office of the Vice President at UT Health Science Center until her retirement.

She had many talents and interests, especially music. She was an active pianist during high school, and a church organist for several years. She enjoyed going to concerts and plays with her friends.

She was also an enthusiastic miniaturist, creating many beautiful room boxes over the years that filled her home. Adrienne is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Winnie and Greg Giles of Madison, SD, her cousin, who was like a brother, Mark Norgaard of Volga, SD, her life-long friend Leslie Anderson of Minneapolis, MN, special friend Kathy Goeghan of San Antonio, and her many wonderful cousins and friends who gave their love and support. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
