Agnes Whiddon Barbee of Grand Ridge, Florida beautifully & peacefully passed away on November 5th, 2018 at the age of 96. Preceding her passing were James Monroe Barbee, her husband of 63 years, her mother and father Nora & Chester Whiddon, and her five brothers and sisters, Hazel, Junior, Billy, Jimmie & Glen. Throughout her life, Agnes excelled as a mother and as a wife, working at a shipyard during the war marking steel panels destined for the sides of battleships, rolling cigars at a factory in Greensboro and becoming a life-long Cosmetologist with her own custom-built beauty shop.

She is survived by her son Jimmy, her beloved Yorkie Bella Rose, and by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of a life well lived will be held Saturday November 17th at Marianna Chapel at 1pm Central, with burial at Cypress Cemetery.
