Seabrook – Alan Edward Schroth, 69, of Seabrook, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. Alan was a loving and devoted husband of Kathleen (Kirwin) Schroth for 49 years. He was extremely proud of his only son, Attorney Edward Alan Schroth of Vermont.

Alan is also survived by his best friend/brother and DJ Partner for over 35 years, Kenneth Robinson of Seabrook and Kenny’s daughter, Cheryl Marchand and her husband Arty, who were very helpful throughout the years; sister-in-law, Denise DaRosa and her husband Adelino DaRosa along with their two sons, Jimmy and Ben. Alan’s favorite treat was his Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee provided by his sweet friend, May Kendall. He enjoyed his many cruises to several countries and several trips to Disney World, Hershey Park, and Atlantic City.

Alan also enjoyed his Wii Bowling Group at the Seabrook Rec Center with all his new friends at Ocean Mist Senior Housing. Alan was employed by Mal’s Towing & Auto Body in Arlington, MA for over 30 years. Alan was also a DJ known as “AL” Occasion D.J., he was the disc-jockey at Pine Acres Campground in Raymond for over 25 years.

Alan loved his years DJing the Saturday night dances for all ‘his kids’. His favorite years were when he performed his Blacklight Dances with his fellow glow helpers and fellow cruisers Patti and Mike Naylor and Dolly Brown. So for one more time “AL” Occasion D.J. will play his ‘Goodnight Sweetheart’ song for his wife Kathleen… and ‘Mony Mony’ for all the adults at Pine Acres Campground.

To all ‘his kids’ just one more time; “Walk and Talk. Walk and Talk”. And most of all for his one and only son… “Eddie, Daddy’s Going Home”….

. Visiting hours will be held from 1 to 4 PM on Sunday, May 26, 2019 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home – Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
