OBITUARY Alan Lee Eisenberg September 29, 1942 – October 25, 2018 Alan Lee Eisenberg, 76, of Dallas, Texas died October 25, 2018. Alan, son of Joe and Billie Eisenberg, loving husband of Dolores Eisenberg, passed away unexpectedly from heart failure. He is survived by his wife, Dolores, brother, Arthur, ex-wife Sheila (Levit) Kottler and five children, Marla, Craig and Zachary, and stepsons Adam and Tony, and six grandchildren.

Alan Lee Eisenberg was born in Kansas City, MO. The Eisenberg family moved to Oak Cliff soon after. Alan grew up in Dallas, attending Hillcrest High School.

After attending the University of Texas he had a brief stint running his own BBQ joint, Fat Ike’s. Alan took over the family scrap metal business, Atlas Iron and Metal, which he ran for many years before finishing his long career with Commercial Metals. He was respected and adored by clients and coworkers.

Alan married Dolores Toarmina in 1993. They enjoyed traveling and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Alan also enjoyed gambling, biking, and family trips with brother Arthur, nephew Arlo, niece Josie, and Nicole and Andrew.

He cherished his friends and his dogs. He was a funny, loving friend to all and will be truly missed. Services will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018, 1:00 PM at Agudas Achim Cemetery, 7900 Scyene Rd.
