On Sunday, July 1st, 2018, Alba Luisa Ferrerosa Scott Woodell, aka “Kiki”, of Los Alamitos passed quietly in her home at age 91. Alba was born on Friday, October 22, 1926 in Colombia, South America to Roberto and Ofelia Ferrerosa. She had two brothers, Herman Ferrerosa and Alvaro Ferrerosa, and two sisters, Elisa Ferrerosa and Oliva Batule.

She was married twice, first to William Walter Scott in 1956 with whom she had two sons, Edward Lee and Walter Rogers. Her second marriage in 1968 was to Marshall J. Woodell Jr. until his passing. Alba attended UCLA, Cal State Long Beach and USC where she studied foreign literature.

Alba spoke many languages and loved to travel the globe. If she wasn’t off on an adventure she was planning her next adventure. After her retirement from teaching, she became a docent at Bowers Museum of Cultural Art in Santa Ana CA.

as well as the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in Long Beach CA. Alba is survived by her two sons, Edward Lee Scott of Los Alamitos and Walter Rogers Scott, Daughter-in-Law Jane Malecky-Scott, and Granddaughter Andea Jewel Scott of Sheridan, Oregon. Sister Olivia Batule and Brother Alvaro Ferrerosa.

Services will be held on Saturday July 7th 2018 at 10:30 AM. Forest Lawn Memorial Park 4471 Lincoln Ave. , Cypress CA 90630.
