Obituary for Albert Donald “Don” Haynes Mr. Albert Donald “Don” Haynes, 80, of Rock Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday January 5, 2019 following a period of declining health. Don was born on August 31, 1938 in York County to the late Delmer L. and Annie Mae Pope Haynes. He was a member of Fort Mill Church of God.
Don was retired as the supervisor of sanitation maintenance after many years of service with the City of Rock Hill, following his retirement he enjoyed traveling with his wife Jacqueline. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline Seaman Haynes. Those left to cherish his memory include his son Donald Randall “Randy” Haynes and wife Nicky of Rock Hill, daughter Rhonda H. Bigham and husband Randy of Rock Hill, two brothers Jimmy Haynes and wife Jane, and Rev.
Leon Haynes and wife Debra both of Rock Hill. Also surviving are two grandchildren Nick Newell and Adam Haynes. A memorial service will be held on Thursday January 10, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends following the service at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, Rock Hill.
