OBITUARY Albert Holmes April 28, 1932 – December 27, 2018 Albert Ray Holmes, age 86, passed away on December 27, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. Born April 28, 1932, in Sandy Ridge, AR. , to the late William Henry and Cordie Lovelace Holmes.

On August 12, 1983 in Benton, KY. , he married Joyce Johnson Holmes, who survives of the home. Other survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Allen Holmes of Hobart, IN.

, and Randy and Melissa Briggs of Sikeston, MO. ; three daughters and one son-in-law, Pam Holmes of Cape Girardeau, MO. , Lisa Kelly of Lake Ozark, MO.

, and Deborah and Larry Jacobs Jr. of Liberty, TX. ; three brothers, Donald Holmes of Sikeston, MO. , Dewey Holmes of Bloomfield, MO.

, and J.W. Holmes of Calvert City, KY. ; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Holmes and one sister, Claire Williams.

Visitation will be Monday December 31, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. with Bro. Amos Johnson and Bro.

Steve Vester, officiating. Interment will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO. Pallbearers: Kevin Roslen, Pete Hendry, Justin Johnson, Keith Kirk, Billy Davis and Alec Holmes.
