OBITUARY Albert Louis Summers Jr. April 26, 1932 – August 30, 2018 Albert Louis Summers Jr. was born to Albert Summers and Ida Amoroso-Summers on April 26, 1932 in Portland, Maine. Al served as an Airman in The United States Air Force from September 1951 to December 1956. He was Honorably Discharged with a National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

He married Geraldine on November 5, 1955 in Phoenix, Arizona and they had their son, Michael Frank Summers, on October 18, 1956. Al worked as an Engineer for Motorola from 1957 – 1994. Over the years his colleagues became life long friends.

Al had a love for his family heritage, traveling, photography and spending time with family and friends. He is predeceased by Geraldine Summers (wife), Joe Summers (brother) and Michael Summers (son). He is survived by his 4 grandchildren Nicole Goodman (Calvin), Steven Summers (Shannon), Michelle Wylie (Bruce), Ryan Summers (Amanda) and his 14 great grandchildren.
