Alen Emory Prudhomme, 83, of Sevierville, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. He was born on August 6, 1935 in Pontiac, Michigan to Margaret and Lucien Prudhomme. Alen served honorably in the United States Air Force as a Military Police Officer and was a Police Officer in Kansas and later in Michigan.

Alen retired as a Sheriff’s Deputy and Weapons Instructor. He enjoyed working with his hands and was talented with gunsmithing and woodworking. Alen was of the Methodist faith and found salvation… Read More » through our Lord and Savior.

He will be missed by all who knew him. Alen is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shelley Prudhomme; sons, Michael Prudhomme and wife, Shauna, Scott Prudhomme, and Tony Prudhomme and wife, Carla; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Frank Prudhomme, Linda Hunt, and Gary “Doc” Prudhomme and wife, Marie; brother-in-law, Raymond Greenhoe; sister-in-law, Ardena Dooley and husband, Dick; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at the VA Cemetery in Michigan at a later date.
