Alfred C Miller , December 14, 1935 — June 23, 2018

Alfred C. Miller, 82, of Wilson Boro, formerly of East Stroudsburg passed away on Saturday June 23, 2018 in his home. He was the husband of the late Carol L. Miller who died October 14, 2015 Born December 14, 1935, in East Stroudsburg the son of the late Alfred and Winifred (Hopkins) Miller. He was a resident of East Stroudsburg for most of his life before moving with his daughter Bethann to Wilson 3 years ago.

Alfred loved cutting grass, and shoveling snow; and especially spending time with his wife and his daughter and family Prior to his retirement in 1998 he worked as a custodian for the East Stroudsburg School District; he also worked as a cleaner for the First Baptist Church of East Stroudsburg, was a crossing guard for East Stroudsburg School.

He also worked for 25 years at the former Trumatic Tool & Machine Co in East Stroudsburg. Alfred is survived by his daughter Bethann A. Kalmback and her husband William of Wilson, his granddaughter Rachel Kalmback ; his sister, Roseann Gouger of Stroudsburg; and his 2 nephews William and Christopher Gouger. He is also survived by his 3 grandpups, Biscuit, Buttercup and Blizzard.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 27, 2018 at 11:00am at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg There will be a viewing on Tuesday June 26, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Funeral Home.
