Obituary for Alfred Medina Lifetime South Fork resident Alfred Claudio Medina, 77, passed away on June 1, 2018 at his home in Agua Ramon. He was born on July 24, 1940 at home what is now known as Fun Valley near South Fork, Colorado to Amarante and Senida Martinez Medina. He married Elizabeth Torres and was blessed with three children.

Alfred was a very hard worker, he worked hard, every day of his life. He was employed by Jackson Lumber Mill in South Fork as yard foreman and a truck driver. Alfred is survived by his children, Lorrie Ann Schofield, Gary Lee Medina, both of Del Norte and Larry Arnold Medina of Arvada, Colorado, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, his faithful companion Thelma, as well as his siblings, Frances Pacheco of Commerce City, Colorado, Theresa Ruiz of Clifton, Colorado, Ben Medina of Monte Vista, Chris Medina of Monte Vista and Mela Rivera of Tucumcari, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous brothers and sisters. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday June 9, 2018 at the Holy Family Mission Catholic Church in South Fork. Burial will follow in the Agua Ramon Cemetery near South Fork.
