Obituary for Alfred E. Belota FORT WORTH- Alfred Emil Belota, born July 24, 1933, in Fort Worth, to the late Annie and Louis Belota, passed away at age 84 on July 2, 2018. Alfred graduated, as Salutatorian, from Laneri High School, Class of 1951. In 1957, he graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA in Accounting.

He was a member of Delta Sigma Pi. Professionally Alfred worked as an accountant and controller in the oil and gas industry, retiring from advertising firm, McKone & Company Inc. in 1996. Alfred was an active and faithful member of St. George Catholic Church.

He was a member of KJT (Czech Catholic Fraternal Organization) Society 54. Alfred enjoyed sharing his Czech heritage with his children and grandchildren. He took pride in maintaining his garden and yard.

He was an active member of the Bonnie Brae Neighborhood Association. He was an avid Texas Rangers fan. He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Belota; and brother, Leonard Belota.

Alfred is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Joan (Maier) Belota; son, John Belota and wife, Karyn; daughters, Mary Stevens, Anne Christianson and husband, Craig, Linda Hudler and husband, Chris, and Amy Morris and husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Sarah Stevens, Kessy (Belota) Lumpkin, Kaylynn Stevens, Zachary Stevens, Kendall Martin, Isaac Belota, Atticus Belota, Madeline Morris, Nathan Martin, Olivia Christianson, Elijah Belota, and Maxwell Morris and great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Iris and Philip Lumpkin.
