Alfred J. Wissert, Jr., 81, husband of the late Elizabeth (Martin) Wissert of Phoenixville, PA, died on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in Phoenixville Hospital. Born on January 10, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Alfred J. Sr. and Bertha Mae (Driscoll) Wissert. He was member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Phoenixville, PA.

He was a former Police Officer in Phoenixville. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Phoenixville Council, Moose Lodge, VFW, and Friendship Fire Company. He was a golfer, bowler, and he played on the Phoenixville Police Department Softball Team.

Surviving are: Daughter, Lisa Wissert. Grandchildren: Victoria, Nicole, Michelle, Stephen, and Alexis. Brother, Frederick Wissert.

Preceded in death by son, James Wissert and brother, Frank Wissert. A viewing will be held at the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, February 28, 2019 12:00 to 1:00 pm with Deacon Mark Szewczak officiating. A Graveside Service will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, 305 W. Pothouse Road, Phoenixville, PA at 1:30 pm.
